I was a little skeptical and decided to do my research on it and found that Psychedelilic water doesn’t use any illegal substances , but instead uses the herb Kava. Per https://www.addictioncenter.com/drugs/over-the-counter-drugs/kava-addiction-abuse/ – Kava, also called “kava-kava,” is an herbal substance that comes from the root of Piper methysticum – a plant native to the western Pacific Islands. The name kava comes from the Polynesian word “awa” and literally means “intoxicating pepper.” The substance has been used by native islanders for centuries as both a medicinal treatment and a part of religious ceremonies due to its sedative, euphoriant, and psychotropic properties. Kava has recently been looked at as a possible treatment for conditions such as anxiety, chronic stress, and insomnia. Some studies have suggested that kava might be a just as effective alternative to benzodiazepine drugs, although research is still limited on the topic. Kava is legally sold in the U.S. as a dietary supplement and is marketed as a sleep aid and muscle relaxant. Despite the substance’s legal status, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) consumed as either a beverage or extract, kava is considered to be non-alcoholic but psychoactive.  plant native to the Pacific Islands, where it was traditionally used in spiritual ceremonies.kava’s relaxing effects are called kavapyrones, also known as kavalactones, and they affect the brain much like alcohol does, sedating the mind and body. Doctors aren’t exactly sure how much kava a person can safely consume — the Psychedelic Water packaging says you shouldn’t have more than two cans at a time other psychoactive ingredient in Psychedelic Water is damiana, a shrub native to Texas, Mexico, South and Central America and the Caribbean. Historically, damiana was believed to be an aphrodisiac, alternative medicine makes use of damiana for all sorts of ailments, from anxiety to headaches to constipation, and some say it has a general calming effect. Overall, though, we could use some more research to really nail down what it’s good for.

Psychedelic Water has a dash of green tea, which serves as a mild caffeine boost to help balance the sleep-inducing effects of kava. glass of wine, after trying , what turned out to be my favorite so -far.The Hibiscus/Lime flavor and my husband tried the Blackberry Yuzu Flavor. This beverage DID Not Disappoint. The flavor was on point and I was in a better mood . I hear that it is better to have Psychedellic water, first drink in the morning, to relieve anxiety & offering a smoother relaxed day. It offers a mild caffeine boost to help balance the sleep-inducing effects of kava. This beverage also has the effect of a glass of wine, so keep that in mind. I suggest you consult a physcian before making this routine. As the brand has a few precautions on consumption as well.

So far I love this brands water!!!
